Australian Intermediate Maths Olympiad

While we host the exam for beginners as an official testing centre

(free entry for first timers)

Our high achieving students usually do the exam with their day schools. Our track record in this exam is unmatched anywhere in Australia, especially with regard to first time camp invites.

Our classes run in Term 3 after school on Monday and Tuesday and in the late afternoon on Saturday.

2024 AIMO results:

2023 AIMO results: 1 perfect score, 2 Prizes, 5 HDs, 5Ds, 4Cs. (34 Prizes and 219 HDs total out of approx 2000 participants total)

2022 AIMO results: 1 Perfect score (only 3 perfect scores across Australia), 3 Prizes (25 Australia wide, 11 from NSW),

3 HDs, 3Ds, 4C.

2021 AIMO results: 2 Perfect scores, 5 High distinctions, 15 Distinctions, 5 Credits.

First time accepting year 7s

2020 AIMO Results: 4 Perfect scores,  3 High Distinctions

2019 AIMO Results: 4 Prizes (year 9, year 10, 10,10), 2 Distinctions1 Credit . none lower.

2018 AIMO Results: 2 Prizes (34/35 and 31/35 year 8 and 9), 5 High Distinctions, 10 Distinctions, none lower.

All students were years 8 and 9 and improved on previous performances.

Note only 4 prizes were awarded to year 8 students across Australia, 20 to year 9 students.

3. AMOC School of Excellence (by invitation (AIMO/SC)

2021-10 invitations ,2020- 9 invitations, 2019- 5 invitations, 2018- 1 invitation. We are now holding our own maths camp for high achieving students nation wide.  About 20 Seniors, 25 Intermediates and 50 Juniors in 2021, increased from previous years with changing criteria.
